Charles Austen Solving Wastewater Treatment Needs

An SCB2 side channel blower from Charles Austen has been put to good use helping a client get their critical off-mains wastewater treatment system up and running.
The client operates a campsite located in glorious woodland in the South Downs National Park, West Sussex.
Charles Austen listened to the clients needs. High performance and low noise were required so as a consequence a two-stage SCB2 machine was selected and delivered as a package with:
- Solberg inlet filter
- Factory set pressure relief valve
- Additional silencer
- Elbow and fittings
To optimise performance and efficiency the client utilised a variable speed drive which allows process performance to be tailored based on demand.
Finally the package was installed in a purpose built acoustic kiosk, ensuring ultra-low noise levels. Indeed the videos shared after installation show impressive performance!
